Calling all freaks! Aloveit, in partnership with Plaza Cinema Cafe, is hosting Downtown Orlando’s first masked-celebration of creative expression at the Plaza Towers.
Come join us for ‘Fangs and Finery’ on Friday 10.30.09
Festivities will commence from 10pm to 2:30am.
‘Fangs and Finery’ will feature a costume contest, and we are using broad brush strokes with the theme.
This is a jauntily slant perspective on the relationship between light and dark, yin and yang, civil and corrupt, hunter and prey.
We are looking for creative interpretations of beings that stalk and corner their mark, waiting to pounce at just the right moment, anticipation catalyzing the release of adrenalin in to their blood stream, while the flash of fangs terrorizes them still…
And what manner of finery would tantalize such passionate obsession? Fairy Folk, Les Femmes of High Society, or Leather Bound Fetishists?
Entertainment includes a live PA by local artists Ology Project, and musical atmospherics selected by Nelson Flux, Vidda Vein and Pascal Dupuy.
