Sat 26 Sep – Phoenix, Passion Pit

I've been looking forward to this show for three weeks. Got there and Passion Pit was on stage in about five minutes. Got my shirts and found a nice spot on the left side of the stage by the food stand (pretty good view). The Passion Pit set was good. Then Phoenix went on stage and the place went crazy!!! They started with a good song (Lisztomania I think) and it just got better. Very cool light show and set list. Was very into the show. The ONLY problem I had with this venue is that the sound was very low for a concert. Maybe it might have some thing to do with New York City volume levels and such... They did an encore but, it started to rain so we headed to the car BUT, was stopped by some random people selling whip-its. WOW!!! 5 balloons for $20 bucks!!! So we all stopped and had an amazing 45 minutes to an hour just sitting on the Central Park bench doing whip-it's listening to the last few songs Phoenix closed out the show with. …
