Singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright is vocal soloist in the world premiere of his SFS-commissioned song cycle, an interpretation of some of the world’s greatest love poetry, drawn from Shakespeare’s sonnets. Then we explore a century of French music, from Romanticism to the Jazz Age to today.
