SAVAGE REPUBLIC (US), the „Einstürzende Neubauten of LA“, are mobilizing non-conformists all over the world since the early 80s with a politically fueled Tribal-Post-Rock-cocktail and their famous thrilling performances. Oscillating between oil-drum-percussion and The-Cure-tribute, they will get the ball rolling as the second headliner of the night like they did in Vienna once decades ago.

SQUISHY SQUID (A) are already causing sensations beyond Austria’s borders with their „Death-Disco, Brutal-Chansons and Morbid-Rock“-debut „Bonjour Tristesse“. Their NDW-affiliated Synthesizer-Punk sends a fresh breeze through Vienna’s dusty underground and reliably supplies instant-boneshaking-attacks. Beware of this furious Squid!

UPPERCLASS SHOPLIFTERS (A) from Graz are definitely D-I-Y since their drummer left. As a woman-man-duo they take care of noise, the pop in punk and the correct outfits on stage all by themselves. They even dare to borrow from The Human League. That’s how we like it. And they only release on cassettes. An opening act truly capable of frightening off all harmony-loving cowards.
