I wasn't really talking about missing notes, more that they all sounded like they had been practicing alone, independent of each other, and they didn't seem to gel together on stage... It's great to see them back! Glad to hear Download was much better!

I thought the sound quality was poor, but the band played very well. The setlist was disappointing also. The Download Festival gig was much better, which made up for it.

Pretty much not a thought for musicianship or sound quality. This gig was all about being amongst the live experience, for the hundreds of fans like me who never had the chance to see FNM live the first time around. To be honest I was screaming along with most of the songs so couldn't have cared less if the sound was unbalanced or they missed a note.

This gig far exceeded my expectations! They seemed to have alot of energy, and the crowd had plenty of energy too! The setlist was great, I liked the stuff from the last two albums (live) alot more than I thought I might, and I didn't care that they didn't play We Care Alot and Everythings Ruined cos they played Malpractice and fucking JIZZLOBBER :D The sound was just fine from where I was near the mixing desk, his voice did seem to go upto 11 at times and neary shred my ears but it was all good :)

Well, this was the fifth time I've seen FNM (the first time back in 1992) and I thought they were as good as ever and the sound was great from where I was standing. The first two numbers in particular were amazing but the set was full of highlights. I don't really get the comments about "musicianship" because all the songs sounded exciting and fresh to me, which I think is more important than re-producing the sound on the record note for note.
