Sat 15 Aug – Pearl Jam, Gomez

Minęły dwa, długie lata, a ja znów z tym samym, dziwnym uczuciem ssania w żołądku, niecierpliwie wypatruję Zespołu Moich Marzeń. Nie spodziewałabym się, że jeszcze potrafię przeżywać cokolwiek TAK intensywnie, lecz rozumiem to już w momencie, kiedy Pearl Jam wychodzi na scenę i słyszę pierwsze dźwięki otwierającego set „Why Go”. Niewyobrażalny przypływ energii, łzy szczęścia w oczach i tylu pozytywnych ludzi dookoła… to jest coś naprawdę wielkiego! Trafne spostrzeżenie, panie Vedder: „why go home?” (…ever?).

Szaleństwo trwa przez kilka kolejnych kawałków, w tym nowy „The Fixer” z najbardziej optymistycznym tekstem, jaki kiedykolwiek słyszałam, oraz mój ukochany „Corduroy” – pierwsze wersy chyba najlepiej oddają mój obecny stan umysłu: „you’re finally here and I’m a mess!”. Zaraz potem, starą tradycją, Eddie wznosi toast i wygłasza po niemiecku parę słów, których prawie nikt z publiczności nie rozumie, ale to nieistotne…

Es war noch nicht einmal 15 Uhr nachmittags, als wir uns zu viert auf den Wegvon der S-Bahn-Halte Richtung Veranstaltungsort machten. Wir schwammen mit einem minütlich anschwellenden Strom von Pearl Jam Fans durch den lichtdurchfluteten Wald. Spätestens als wir dann das Eingangstor sahen, vor welchem meine Schwester und ich vor mittlerweile fast 3 Jahren geschlagene 7 Stunden verharrten um auch ja noch in den FOS Bereich zu all den TenClubbern zu kommen, spätestens da waren wir angekommen am Sommerabend! Nun, da wir dieses Jahr aber 10C – Karten hatten, ließen wir jenes legendäre Tor (und auch zwei besoffene Italiener auf einem Tretauto *rofl*) im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes links liegen und umrundeten die halbe Location um zu unserem Extraeingang zu gelangen. Die Ausschilderung war quasi nonexistent, weshalb ich einen dieser Securityheinis um Rat bat. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten Fußmarsch kamen wir dann auch am FEZ an, vor dessen Toren der Fanclubeingang dann auch platziert war. …

Setlist was pretty good, missing a few but still great.
Performance was through the roof, banter was funny, not too much etc.
Eddie Vedder is beyond cool, the band really put everything into the gig, crowd and venue was also fantastic, jealous of whoever it was in the crowd that Vedder handed his bottle of wine to.

Amazing gig, Gomez sounded good too, although I don't know them at all.
