A gig in celebration of the launch of the new Slow Club 7” single, It Doesn’t Have To Be Beautiful / Wild Blue Milk.

The Sheffield boy-girl due bring their acclaimed live show to London to celebrate the release of their debut album. Often lazily compared to the White Stripes (he plays guitar/sings, she plays drums/sings) their sound is more folk-pop then blues rock and has alot more depth and subtlety than that comparison implies. Three singles and a celebrated Xmas show at the Union Chapel have have seen the band establish a big cult following. A genuinely unique live experience.

Stansted Express to Liverpool Street, then Tube from Liverpool Street to either Charing Cross or Piccadilly Circus (former - Central to Tottenham Court Road, then Northern to Charing X; latter - Central to Holborn, then Piccadilly to Piccadilly Circus). Average journey time for Stansted Express is between 45 minutes and 1 hour, either of those tube journeys should be reasonably quick, but don't forget that although you might land at 7:35pm, you might not actually get out of Stansted for quite a while afterwards. Might be tight.

Does anyone know how late Snow Club start playing? haha. My plane arrives at 19:35somthing at Stansted. I really need to see SC. Now im going; whats the fastest way to get to this venue from Stansted? haha. thanks :D
