It's four in the morning, there's not a soul around
This dirty hotel room has really got me down
A modern day minstrel, they got my name in lights
I wish these days of glamor didn't have these lonely nights

  • Triumph
  • @PsychoDad149 that's just your glorification of the music scene talking. his career is in music and it fits for him, and there are bummers associated with it. What if a plumber wrote a song saying how can be lame being a plumber sometimes? Surely you wouldn't be so dismissive in that case; I don't see what's so different here.
  • I like the sound, very classic, Broadway sound, but I don't care much for the song itself. But then, I tend not to like the self-indulgent songs about a band's struggles (Boston, "Rock n Roll Band" Byrds "Rock n Roll Star") and especially songs about what a hard life it is being a performer; go back to plumbing if it sucks that bad.
  • This is essentially Rik Emmet and some of what he's been doing for the past 20 years solo. Tommyjoe67 can't be serious. Far from? This tune is a perfect fit for an incredible album and is a great tune in itself.
  • I love when they play bluesy songs, they do it great.
  • this song shows that the band can play anything and it shows their blues roots
  • Never heard this track before...don't care for it much...this is FAR from tunes like Fight The Good Fight, Lay It On The Line, Magic Power and Hold On To Your Dreams...THOSE songs ROCKED! :)
