At fuking last, cant wait!!!
Observations: 1.) I'd say the majority of die-hard crust fans don't show it in their looks. 2.) Living on the streets is nothing to be proud of - having a bedroom, wifi and both parents at home are a blessing. 3.) Don't dismiss an entire genre of music, even if it's glam. For example, New York Dolls and Hanoi Rocks are cool.
@bang01 You don't know the first thing about this band, so why are you making outlandish statements about them? These guys are completely DIY, they release all their own shit. They don't promote themselves. Their attitude is literally, 'we're playing a show if people wanna come, then cool'. They don't make any money on their tours, they lose money. They crash at people's houses while on tour, or wherever they can. I don't care if they aren't covered in dirt or wearing rags, that's 'crust punk' enough for me. You're the ONLY person who wants the glam rock band's photo up there, but you're not even an active last fm user. You only have 5 plays of that band anyway and 950 plays total, why the fuck do you even care? I didn't know punk rock was about living in a squat. I thought it was about fighting back, resisting and challenging the system. *rolls around in dirt* am I a punk now?
Oh, I am far from close-minded, you know. I just don't find what I'm looking for in music in glam rock. A title as "Holiday Heroin Inn" simply does not speak to me as "The Ending Fight" (This chant of anger will ring out like sirens,Until the last neck of the last boss is hung, The end of the ruling classes, The end of sleepless nights, The end of taking orders, The end of wasted lives, the end... the ending fight).
What I don't like is not your music, it is your attitude.
At least you have some kind of self-mocking sense of humour. ;)
How a consistent critique coming from someone so anxious to have his temporary favourite band listed as "official" on a web page, while at the same time trying to erase a band precisely active in the squat scene.
And you must be a great sociologist to be able to draw such easy conclusions about the life of people here.
Jeez, do suffer from a sense of inferiority to be so stubborn?
Internet babies couldn't win a fight with a paper bag, all you know is wifi'd into your bedroom at your parents house. Try living on the streets, and in squats, learn what punk rock is really about. Oh Yeah, funny, have not seen a 20 something punk rocker on the streets in years. This generation dont leave the house with the safety of mommy and daddy, think they must know it all, it says so on the internet. Bahahahahahahahaha, I hope some day your 4 walls laptop smartphone safety net crumbles around you.....uprising, war, revolution, etc ....anything!!!...see how smart you are then!!!
Yeah, because you know, punk is all about style, what you look like, how dirty you are, and not about fucking spirit and attitude, not about how engaged you are, how politically active you are, how true you are to your ideals. Bla bla bla. Do not judge a book by its cover.
"I come from the streets [...] these kids wouldn't last one night on the streets" Aw come on, do you want us to cry about you? You are annoying...
Look pretty f**kin clean for a band that claims Crust Punk....I come from the streets, Crust Punks wear there dirt as a badge of honor. THIS IS FAKE BS!....these kids wouldn't last one night on the streets, they would call there mommy's for a ride home!
The glam band might be ok or whatever but there's no reason for them to be the "official" artist here.

Music is Music, at the end of the day none of it matters. The only truth is that the Tragedy band name was in use by a Hollywood Glam/Punk band, long before this band you listen to started using it....and you may say nobody cares, but you would be so wrong, and its kind of ironic in a way.... I searched out the youtube video you mentioned, it was posted by a record label that wants to sign the Glam/Punk Tragedy to a one CD deal to release the old demos.
@bang01 You didn't answer my question, but that's okay. I didn't expect you to anyway. I actually took the time to listen to one of their songs on youtube, it was called "nobody cares". The title of the song was spot on, about the band that is. I don't really understand why you're rambling about big records labels, I'll just put that down to you being butthurt. Haha I'm not even going to go there with you lady. I can't expect you to understand my music and I'm not going to waste my time. Do you seriously think that heavy bands have no skill and can't actually play their instruments properly? You seem stressed out. Maybe you should calm down and go listen to greenday or muse or whatever other mindless crap you listen to.
Thats Awesome!, HEY WORLD!, the two people below can tell if a band is good or not just by looking at a picture!!!! Fuckin Ay, Some BIG RECORD LABEL Should Hire Them NOW!!!
I AM SO FCKIN IMPRESSED, Does this power come to you just by listening to droning doomsday metal bands that downtune there guitars so all you hear just noise and cant even tell that they have no idea how to play the instrument?, or are there other factors involved?
@bang01 I don't understand what you mean by squeaky clean, would you care to extrapolate? Haha I'm no new school punk, if anything I listen to more metal/grindcore/crust than punk music. I don't care who headlined some memorial show, I have no interest in that. Some punk bands from the 70s might have been influenced by glam rock but your Tragedy band is from the 1990s and music has progressed a lot since then... It's not like they were the New York Dolls or David Bowie. There are crappy bands in all genres, like glam rock Tragedy. I don't need to be told to do my homework by someone who listens to Jay-Z and The Used.
@DailyGrinder & All ya squeeky clean 'new school' punks(?) need some schooling. look at who co-headlined the 2010 Traci Michaelz Memorial Show http://www.last.fm/music/Tragedy/+images/93954487 <- memorial show flyer link) BTW, Traci was the drummer for the Los Angeles based band Tragedy. Show some respect, punk was born from glam rock. Do some homework, and learn a little about music and culture before you type next time.
@bang01 The real 'Tragedy' here is that the image of some crappy glam rock band is up there at the moment.
"they actually were punks before At The Gates brainwashed them. " but their albums are all the same. seriously there's like a slight change on DDA but it's pretty much exactly the same as the rest of their stuff. i'm not even criticising because i dig this band a lot but they're very uh consistent.
I got burned out on the old records and barely put them on for the last few years, but listening to them again now reminds me of how fucking amazing they really are. Whenever I need to get myself motivated, all I have to do is listen to "The Lure" and I feel like I could punch life in the face.
