  • This isn't an album, this is a piece of art. [2] So beautiful
  • This isn't an album, this is a piece of art.
  • v i actually listened to circa survive because of this band
  • I've also come to think (and sorry if this is just patronising) that there'll be a lot of people who heard about this band through Anthony Green's contribution when they were perhaps a bit younger and that five or ten years from now they might just see this in a totally different light.
  • I think its pretty natural for this album to be divisive the way it has, especially with the pretty disparate artists involved. I'm sure there were just as many fans of experimental music turned off by the 'emo' vocals as there were post-hardcore fans turned off by the avant-garde. Especially after the first album. I hope that now, a few years down the line, people can step back from their initial reactions. Personally, I came into this band through the RX Bandits connection and in many ways felt that 'Tiger & The Duke' felt more like an RXB EP with a different vocalist, who honestly didn't do it for me like Matt Embree. This album, in comparison, felt like something genuinely different, and a genuine collaboration at that. I still stand by my comment from five years ago, I think its a masterpiece.
  • one of the strangest yet most amazing albums ever. [2]

  • It's funny how their worst album has their best song... "Horses in the Sky". But the rest lacks inspiration...
