Apparently, De-Loused was way better without the studio version of Take The Veil, according to LastFM tracklist.

Possibly my favourite record of all time...or at least on level with Lateralus by Tool and Bilateral by Leprous. Stunning sonic bliss from beginning to end. I really love FTM, but the addition of minutes of distortion and noise on so many of the tracks really makes it such an incohesive listenin g experience compared to Deloused.

Amazing album. Takes me to places! It's like a journey through highs and lows and..other...strange....places. It is art.

Greatness the band later came to achieve? Every subsequent Mars Volta record was boring wankery compared to Deloused.

I feel this album doesn't even come close to the greatness that TMV later came to achieve. Still a solid debut, though.
