• Underrated as hell
• I wish I liked uncanney valley half as much as I do the other four ; ( these guys are the best-est band otherwise.
• I always find myself listening to these guys when times are sour.
• vv Are you some kinda prophet
• Oh, hey, didn't know there was going to be a new Built to Spill. It has been a really big year so far, though, even just in its first month. I can add to that list Bjork, Burial, Belle & Sebastian, Panda Bear, Aphex Twin, etc. etc. (oh, should also rep Comic Sans and One-sided Friendships). • v If The Wrens album drops then yes, definitely.
• New Sleater-Kinney, new Modest Mouse, and now new Built to Spill. Is it safe to declare 2015 the Year of '90s Indie yet?
• Such a fantastic band. Every song is a gem.
• Happy new year, everyone! Let's all have a good one!
• Well, I know this shoutbox has been quiet lately, but since it's New Year's Eve, here's the obligatory Ice of Boston. They're actually playing it in Boston this year, wish I could be there. I know we're in disparate time zones (it's 3:30am here at good ol' GMT) so this is coming variously late and early, but I wish you folks the very best for 2015!
