Hi, how are you? I did a cover tribute from George Harrison and Kurt Cobain. Just watch the video if you can =) and thanks George Harrison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQgzZvpH__0 Kurt Cobain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLuaXO9skKQ&feature=youtu.be
I've been addicted to All Things Must Pass (the album) lately and it's terrific to just have an overload of George vocals everywhere all the time, but I've gotta say, there's also something exquisite about his gentle slide in on "something in the way she moves..." so soon after John's grittier tones and far more rough-and-tumble approach on Come Together. Albums, dammit. What a great art form. Cherrypicking individual songs is just never gonna be as good, if the album's worth anything as such.
This seemed to be inspired by Harrison's wife, Pattie, but he claimed he did not have anyone in mind when he wrote it. George was really into his studies of Krishna Consciousness when he wrote this song and its original intent was as a devotion to Lord Krishna. In fact, the lyric was "something in the way HE moves." George ended up changing it because he didn't want to be perceived as a "poof." http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=192
Simply put, the greatest love song ever written, ever performed, period. Full Stop! (not just IMO, but in the opinion of Rolling Stone mag, and a # of others who named it so, at the end of the 2nd Millennium).
