  • Lol, who cares what genre they are? They are one of the best bands in the world. They're like one of the Seven Wonders of the music world. I'm 24 and been enjoying Tears Laid In Earth since 17.
  • These guys are unique and unrepeatable. Great stuff.
  • Painting on Glass is much better than Tears Laid in Earth imo. But I still like TLIE.
  • Bit unfortunate they've been largely characterized by their early doom metal material, when their experimental work from 95 to 97 is much stronger.
  • "Tears Laid In Earth" is undoubtedly onе of the most interesting and inspiring metal/rock albums ever [3]
  • People bitching about stupid labels. On T3ATM's page, of any. *facepalm*
  • though, I guess that's admitting it isn't what gothic metal is nowdays. the 3rd and the mortal is beyond classification anyway
  • it's structured so much like darkwave. darkwave influenced rock is gothic rock 100% of the time. so what should we call darkwave influenced metal? it doesn't have to sound bombastic like tristania to be gothic, especially since it was before gothic metal stopped having anything to do with gothic rock.
  • GOTHIC METAL?! You must be such a shitter to tag this band so.[2] I don't know what makes people think all metal that is melodic and uses female vocals is gothic. This is not Moonspell or Tristania.
  • "Tears Laid In Earth" is undoubtedly onе of the most interesting and inspiring metal/rock albums ever [2] Never get tired of their '93-94 works.
