What's the reason that this man should be called Sir Edward Elgar on this site and not Edward William Elgar, like almost all the componists. They should be tagged by their real full name and not by titles.
If Sir Edward Elgar is ok then what about this lot : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Musicians_awarded_knighthoods ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Suggest a correction>>>>>>>>>> Edward Elgar ~~~~~~~~ http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/Edward+Elgar
@oaquard -probably something like this [track artist=Blue Claw Philharmonic]Pomp and Circumstance (Dubstep Remix) [Elgar Drum Bass Garage][/track]
Enjoy, as they say. Lots more on the album there for you too. There was a similar sort of thing here http://www.last.fm/music/Sir+Edward+Elgar/_/Nimrod but it seems to have been corrected now. You'll have to track that one down yourself.
The "Sir' in front of his name is really important on lastfm, I've discovered. If you scrobble 'Nimrod' from the Enigma variations without the 'Sir', eventually you will get a ghastly version played back to you, with a 'doof' doof' beat in it. Now. if you like that kind of thing, fine. I don't.
The Music Hall of Fame are delighted to induct Sir Edward Elgar into the Class of 1951. Congratulations. Please join our group too see the latest inductees into the Music Hall of Fame http://www.last.fm/group/Music+Hall+of+Fame

"Elgar was contemptuous of folk music and had little interest in or respect for the early English composers, calling William Byrd and his contemporaries 'museum pieces'." I UNDERSTAND NOW, I UNDERSTAND IT ALL TOO WELL
