Richard Christopher Wakeman (Perivale, Inglaterra, 18 de mayo de 1949), mejor conocido como Rick Wakeman, es un músico británico de rock progresivo. Educado en música clásica como pianista, es un tecladista célebre por su virtuosidad, y por tocar rodeado de una gran cantidad de equipo. A principios de su carrera fue uno de los pioneros en el uso de teclados electrónicos. Comenzó a tocar profesionalmente alrededor de 1964 como integrante de "The Atlantic Blues" y luego como sesionista profesional.
