However with or without additional tracks it remains my favorite NIN record, despite my love to downwards spiral or PHM. And i'm still waiting for promised 10th, 15th or 20th anniversary version with bonus outtakes tracks.
The version I had in high school had Dead Souls (from The Crow OST) as the 12th and final song on the second disc, so I'm always surprised that it's not there when I re-download the album. That song belongs there as far as I'm concerned.
THIS ALBUM IS PERFECT THE ONLY PROBLEM IS IT IS SO FUCKIN LONG YOU NEED SO MUCH TIME TO SITE THROUGH IT BUT OMFG ITS WORTH IT. Someone needs to make a music video to go with the whole album like they did with Broken.
I don't care what anyone else thinks, The Fragile is, by all means, Trent Reznor's magnum opus.
It's such a majestic piece of musical art, even the outtakes, lesser songs, remixes and related songs from the same time period are better than most artists' greatest achievements.
Hands down my #1 favorite album of all time
I still cannot believe this album exists - it's too perfect, from the first song to the last. It's so inspiring to know that there are people out there in the world that have the capability, the determination, and the vision to craft something as special as The Fragile.
