That's interesting - in my recently listened tracks the new album shows up as HRVRD (except for Kids With Fake Guns which gets autocorrected to Harvard for some reason), but overall it scrobbles for Harvard. Seems like some genius at last.fm figured out a way to do that : )
As far as I know there not better than the old sound of circa survive. but it truly beats vioelnt waves and blue sky noise. But both of these bands dont beat Alta thougb. Alta is way too genius especially on there LP Places. that was album of 2013. And if you havent heard it. There 7 songs on there are mind blowing. Picture circa but screaming and a higher pitched voice. Since Green's voice definetly is going away now. too bad Alta is DIY. glad they are though. Harvard is decent. there ep is nice. there full length is okay also. definetly reminds me of some of on letting go.
harvard is super kick ass...but definitely NOT better than Circa Survive...it is obvious that Harvard has strong influences from Circa's music..but they certainly are like brothers musically :) i love them both!!
Yeah, this band is definitely appropriately tagged as being in the Circa Survive genre. Though just touch poppier. Could use just a pinch more pitch-correction transparency at some moments, but some of these songs are outdoing CS albums #2 and #4.
What to do with scrobbles? Want to keep them all together but Cardboard Houses was released as HRVRD... Nonetheless, solid singles, waited a long time for some new music but was definitely worth it. Now to wait it out for the album!
