Another big show at Braddock Elks! It's a bit of a trek to get there, though it didn't stop a lot of people from biking out... I was feeling wimpy so I drove. I showed up near the end of Auryn's set (note: not the same Auryn that's here on last.fm). Watching them, I thought "who is this hippie talking about herbal remedies" until I realized that it was Geoff from Intense Youth! Auryn were okay, kind of screamo-tinged crusty hardcore, but not my thing.
This was Night Terror's last show so I'm really glad I showed up in time to catch them. Loud as hell and more Motorhead influenced than I remember them being. Here's a video (terrible sound quality, sorry):
Caustic Christ... man, I haven't seen them in so long! For a while there I think I saw them every week and I just needed a break. They totally killed it at this show... they sounded great, had lots of energy, and played all the hits. Here they are playing Sadist Society:
27 Oct 2007, 7:32 de slickbenjamnI'm really doing this for myself. I've had some interesting trips at shows, and I think I'm going to try to list all the shows (excluding any local shows worth no note)I've been to these last few years. In my childhood, I didn't really have any interest in music. I began to draw into the phenomenon in 2005. Before that, I had been to a few shows at Meadowbrook with a bunch of old bands from the 60s, and I had once seen the Beastie Boys. So let's see what I can remember...
Mindless Self Indulgence- Fun show overall. When I look back, I realize that the crowd really sucked, but as I didn't realize at the time, it wasn't too bad. About a month after that show they stopped playing live and began to fuck around while a cd was playing in the background. Here's to capitalism and the wonders of popularity. Suicide City opened up the show and were tre solid.
dresden dolls- dressing up like the band is always interesting while waiting outside, especially when outside has a large population of jive-talking homeless. …

29 Sep 2005, 5:19 de RottenBerryThis show was actually on Sunday. I've been really busy.
Hammer (Japan) was awesome. I was really impressed. I was going to pick up their LP but found out I had overdrawn my checking account so I couldn't.
Caustic Christ was amazing. They played both of their songs from the tour only 7" and if you don't have it---you should definitely try to find it. They played a bunch of other stuff too. The crowd was going nuts and it was a good time.
