As long as there's breath in the man, I'm sure there'll be albums of originals now and then, even if it's not often. What would really be cool to see is if he went through a Leonard Cohen type revival and suddenly became prolific again.

Melancholy Mood is great. I'm glad he's doing want he wants to. A part of me is really hoping he isn't done with writing original music though.

Under the Red Sky is quite pleasant too actually, in an easy-listening sort of way. Listened to it while doing dishes and stuff and it was rather enjoyable. Feels like he enjoyed doing the album.

"That criticism comes from people who think that women should be karate instructors or airplane pilots. I’m not knocking that – everyone should achieve what she wants to achieve – but when a man’s looking for a woman, he ain’t looking for a woman who’s an airplane pilot. He’s looking for a woman to help him out and support him, to hold up one end while he holds up another." ---- Bob Dylan, 1978, when asked, “Is ‘Is Your Love in Vain?’ to be taken literally? You’ve been accused of being chauvinistic in that song, especially in the line, 'Can you cook and sew, make flowers grow?’”

Damn I do adore Is Your Love Vain, even though its somewhat corny. I mean he sorta sounds like a pubescent teen who can't get laid but still... the despair, angst, misery just comes through so powerfully.
