Second best Album by them, much better than Out of exile ( which only had a few outstanding tracks) on Revelations there is not a single weak track. And how the fuck is this album more commercial than Out of exile which had be yourself, dandelion and doesn't remind me??? it's ridiculous to say that.
I agree with what most everyone is saying. This album is my favorite by them. I hated to see them split because I felt like this was the album where they finally were comfortable with each other. It sounds to me like the four members of the band meshed unlike they had ever done before.
Worst album, much more commercial. true! this album in my opinion was a failure, I think it took the end of the band............... [BR] verdade! esse Álbum na minha opinião foi um fracasso, acho que isso levou o fim da banda
This is an absolutely criminally underrated album, and I feel is their best work. Too bad they disbanded shortly after the release (no tour!). This album will never be anywhere near as popular as their others, and thats a shame.
This is the BEST Audioslave album. And I can step into the ring to fight for it ;] This is the combination of the best features from the 1st and 2nd. This is THE BAND, not a combination of 3+1 (1st) or 1+3 (2nd). Brilliant. Sad they split. Hope RATM brings back the old spirit;]
great album. I was a little dissapointed at first, I had a hard time getting used to the change in sound from their first album. the first album sounded a bit more metal, but this one had a more experimental sound. eventually I got used to album and now it's one of my favorites. Moth is definetly Audioslave's best song.
This is a brilliant album. At the time of release OOE was also a brilliant album but now, looking back, it is by far their worst. At first I didn't like this album but now I love it just as much as the first album, but for completely different reasons. The Shape of Things to Come is my favourite on the album.
tornescarecrow, what planet are you on m8? do you know anything about puting songs & albums together? i been playing for over 20 years & writing for at least 10! i bet when you drop your toast it always lands butter side down lol, open thy ears bud then maybe your brain will follow lol (jokes)
revelations has to hold cornell's best achieved vocals ever, the man has an amazing voice but the levels & sustain of the notes he hits are nerve tingling, that combined with the faith input of his lyrics are nothing short of well........ it's a revelation :) cheers chris, keep spreadin them wings.
