Very well-done parodies of boyband music in the main. Some of the songs work a lot better than others - "U and U and Me" and "The Hardest Part of Breaking Up" are both hysterical - but in general this is good stuff.
7. Kilfenora Fiddle Ceili Band
I may have reached the upper limit of my tolerance for brilliant Irish instrumental folk. I can't pick what makes this outfit special in comparison to the rest.
7. Glennis Grace
Just not able to sustain it over an album.
7. Femi Kuti
I'll take daddy and little brother any day of the week. The genes clearly passed Femi by.
6. The Axis of Perdition
Sort of ambient industrial black metal. A lot of music like this requires the right setting more than anything else, and I can't say I like it.
Also unable to sustain my interest over an album, which surprises me no end.
4. Ali Zafar
I'd previously put both of his albums down as essential listening, but I agree now that they're albums with some good songs and a bit of filler.
