• Did you know .... TIERSEN PLAYS POST-ROCK? (concert review)

    19 Mar 2007, 21:56 de Salvator

Oh yes, that's right. Yesterday I was on Yann Tiersen marvelous concert at Wrocław Music Theater "Capitol". I watched the shock on girls sweet faces that expected Amelie-like soft piano and violin, while the music played was a breathtaking composition of different Tiersen's themes sewed together just to form something like , that was with no doubt and mostly :) Let me just mention playing guitar using drill or guitar-loudspeaker coupling :)

Since today, people not tagging Tiersen as are by law punished to death sentence.

Very work, eclectic synthesis of multiple genres played with strong commitment. Poor you all narrow-minded disgusted Amelie-only fans. Too bad you didn't notice the amount of Yann's genius that exploded yesterdays evening ;)

  • New Zero 7 Album : The Garden

    25 Jun 2006, 13:35 de kanavulator

The Garden is a highly-hyped and very anticipated new, third album by Zero 7. Zero 7 is a group founded by Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker. The album contains 5 songs featuring the vocal talents of Sia Furler, who is best known for providing vocals on Destiny.

Overall, I must say I am very impressed by the musical and vocal elements of the album and would recommend it to just about anyone. Any listener who loves the artistes Air should listen to what has been called a sort of British counterpart to AIR's revolutionary sound.

    Yann Tiersen

  • Yann Tiersen LIVE?

    5 Feb 2006, 22:59 de Ariebombarie

    Yann Tiersen

It's hard to 'meet' Yann Tiersen for real at one of his concerts in 2005 and 2006. I missed unfortunately the concert at AB in Brussels. When I browsed for a clue I found out he's playing in mostly France in 2006. The thought of just driving there and - able to find the village - is just a nice thought so far :)
Anyway, for other people closer to France or with same thoughts :) you'll find the list of 2006 down below.Btw You'll never know, perhaps he will suprise us with a concert somwhere after may this year?!

    Enjoy, Arjen
