Descripción:
Surging from the Latium valley in Central Italy, this abundant and complicated language was spoken by some of the greatest men of the ancient world and was an international language for over a...

Linguam Latinam in primis incolae Latii locuti sunt. Ista regio parva fuit, fama est urbem Romam a Romulo Remoque in istis locis, ubi expositi erant, anno DCCLIII a.C.n. conditam esse.

Vivat lingua Latina!

P.S. This group is open not only for those who can speak or write in Latin but also for anyone who wants to learn the language or discuss anything related to the classical antiquity.

yup, and the best recent dictionaries are in English, like Oxford Latin Dictionary. But the best subject literature still remains written in deutsch. They are like creators of classic filology. And most editions of ancient texts are their work.

Too late for Latin to help learning English. But it is possible for English to help learning Latin, there is much literature in English.

added , thanks ;). And if i may make any advice, don't abbandon latin! It could help even during learning english. But, i admitt, every beginnings are difficult, but give it a try :). 'omne principium difficile est' . I am cheerfully supprised that this group remains among those 'living ones', valete omnes!

Hello. I am less than absolute beginner in the Latin language. I am 20 now, and I remember that at the age of 7 I wanted to go to the Latin-specialized school. But my parents decided to send my to English-specialized school. So, I still want to learn Latin... You can add Corvus Corax.
