Converted from Steven Wilson fanboy to Toby Driver fanboy, I still love pretty much everything Steven Wilson wrote and recorded - with Storm Corrosion as my personal fave. Saw him once in 2013 @Zabrze, seeing him again this year @Kraków. Hyped for Hand. Cannot. Erase. ♥

Does anyone here find the new octane twisted cd to be mixed poorly? So far i have only listened to disc 1 the incident and it sounds nothing like the PT standard i have grown to love. Any thoughts?

Welcome! You have entered the cranial vistas of psychogenesis. This is the place of no-time and no-space. Do not be afraid for I am merely the vocal manifestation of your eternal dreams. I am as water, as air - like breath itself. Do not be afraid. Look around, but linger not. Where I lead you will follow. Mark these words well. Ignite my anger with your delay and punishments will come your way. You are eight souls of the flesh, chosen from different eras ancient and modern. The trivia of your mortal lives is unimportant to me... Indeed, some may die... You have a task: to release yourselves from this Web of Wisdom, this knotted Maze of Delirium, you must enter the nuclear portals of the Electric Castle

I remember reading about PT in old Delerium catalogues (I miss those guys!), I remember reading about a young lad from Hemel Hempstead and thinking "ah that sound interesting!" - and was I right! Interesting to see mr wilson find his feet especially in the early days - he used to get his friend to write the lyrics and he has used Hawkwind and Neu! riffs quite blatantly: from small acorns do mighty oaks grow! Credit due, PT are a fine British band. One of the best, in the long tradition of music.

I just got into this group thanks to a guy's recommendation, and... well, I'm glad I did. The early ambient-psych-space-Pink Floydy-rock-thingy albums are great so far.
