    Suicide Girl

    There are fragments
    that might be helpful
A photo of glasses and bangs

    There were those jewels
    Purple and red scars
    She carried on her arms

    Where to find the map
    Her steps could be intact
    Maybe a trail
    Bread crumbs on the path

    Like looking for children
    on a crusade
    gathering at the ships
    Boarding the dark hull

    Their faces
    pale and watery
    staring up from waves
    Is it possible to reach
    down far enough
    pull them up

    Nothing touches them
    even tears slipping
    Past the gray shell
    of the ocean.

    Saturate When Wet

Everything is written in puddles that evaporate

    I really like this one.

  • Very emotional, very good.
Love the use of imagery. Tears started to gather in my eyes while reading it. A very powerful poem.
