For Fans of the band Saosin when Anthony Green was leading front man, changing our lives with his singing and lyrics.

Don't get me wrong. I do not HATE New Saosin, no one should, afterall Saosin was more than Anthony, it was the whole band. However Anthony Green brought something new and fresh to the table of music with Saosin. I think I can speak for most fans, when I say Saosin as of the now has lost its touch, its now focusing more on the area of mainstream post-hardcore, whereas back in 2003 the band barely had a genre. They were just Saosin.<3

I used to love the old Saosin. The new stuff is atrocious and I could only give it one or two listens. It's shallow and generic. Circa Survive are far superior.

New Saosin is over produced, auto-tuned shit. There's no soul in music anymore.

'Translating the name' could be one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. On the top 20 for sure.

A big part of the Old Saosin draw too is that they were never really an "official" band that released and distributed albums, remember back in the day them and Hellogoodbye where the two bands that were completely passed around by word of mouth, they didn't have any ''official'' releases. I think some of that lure died with the release of the self titled as well, making their appeal even less for some...just another thing to think about.

They Perched on their stilts, pointing and daring me to break custom is by far one of my favorite songs of all time.

Dude, this is what I heard. Cove actually is Anthony. Same person. He just wares a lot of makeup and changes his voice when he performs with Saosin. But that's just a rumor.

I think there is a conspiracy going around with the saosin EP. I believe Anthony Green actually recorded the ep and Cove took all the credit, simple as that.

I don't think Soasin went downhill because Anthony Green left. Saosin EP was an amazing album. I enjoy listening to it just as much as Translating the name. When Soaosin came out, however, I lost all interest.
