This is a group for you if you play songs because you like them and not because you want to appear cool.

The group is not about playing crap music but it does champion the right to play whatever you like without others labelling you 'uncool'. If you like a song - play it and enjoy it!

Whitney can be a guilty pleasure sometimes. Real 'handbag' music (at least in her peak).

Yes, we are a surprisingly conservative bunch, Brian. Maybe we should have a designated 'Cheese Day' when we can be out and proud about our dark secretly loved tracks ;)

For a group supposedly without shame, their's very little to be ashamed of in the charts here. We really should organise bumping the uncle at a wedding dance tracks to the top. Where's? "Wig Wam Bam" or "Disco Duck"?

Correct. Just looked back at the Top Tracks for the week ending 23 Dec 2007. . . 5 plays for Waitresses – Christmas Wrapping, 4 for Mariah Carey – All I Want for Christmas Is You and Ronettes – Sleigh Ride, etc., etc.

I predict that cheesy Christmas songs will dominate next week's chart ;)

I'm more than happy to see a chart that features everything from Kula Shaker to Ottawan :)

It's out, and it's relatively mainstream 80s I'd say, with perhaps a surprise entry by The Stone Roses

I'm expecting our chart (if it ever materialises) to be pretty diverse anyway ;)

How about messaging all the members in advance to suggest we all concentrate on playing records from a decade, (say the 70s), or a year (1967?), or a genre (Christmas?). The group charts would be suitably weird

'Group charts are calculated weekly for groups with more than 10 members.' Does this mean we need 11? D'oh!

Ooh, we're just two members away from the requisite 10 needed for group charts to appear. Recruit your 'uncool and proud of it' friends today :D
