For everyone who ever thought they wished their record player could update their last.fm.

You don't feel like listening to anymore singles on shuffle. It's time for something more substantial. A record. Your throw on some vinyl, and love it... there's just one thing... you wish your turntable could scrobble plays to your last.fm!

If Soundhog or Shazam just added the ability to scrobble to their iPhone app our problems are solved. Then you could scrobble anything you are listening....even the radio or something from your friends iPod.

Oh man, this group is so up my street. I'm actually typing this on a typewriter, so have never understood why last.fm haven't integrated turntable plays too.

You could put an RFID reader by the turntable, paste an RFID id on all of your records and then profit...

You should check out scRYMble. It allows you to scrobble stuff via a tracklist, so you can scrobble vinyl or stuff you listened to in your car or whatever youd odn't listen to on your computer.

When people have looked at my last.fm library and said "you listen to a lot of strange bands," I've always said "oh man, if only last.fm could track my turntable... if only."
