For all fans of early psychedelic/space-rock era of Porcupine Tree.

Group for those who love the early era of Porcupine Tree full of trippy, atmospheric, psychedelic and experimental stuff.

This part of the PT back catalog is very underappreciated. People tend to listen to the later-more song oriented music beginning with the Stupid Dream album and signing to the Snapper/K-Scope label in March 1999.

This group is here to support all the pre-Stupid Dream recordings released mainly on the Delerium Records label.

Feel free to join!

Had a bit of a problem with the early material, but after growing bored with frequent Deadwing and FoaBP playback I got back into the oldest stuff. Coma Divine got me dragged into the well of souls eaten by Porcupines living on a Tree. Can't say anything seriously, as the old stuff is just breathtaking.

I love the early PT. I think I first got into PT with Stupid Dream a few years ago and listened through their more recent stuff after that. Stupid Dream -> The Incident kept me busy for a while. Then I listened to Voyage 34, followed by The Sky Moves Sideways, and was just blown away. After that their early stuff has been in heavy circulation; I rarely visit their newer stuff now. I guess I'm much more into psychedelia/rock at the moment.

excellent group, I'm a huge fan of their more psych-oriented stuff, but not at all the heavy stuff.

Great group! I think it's kinda hard to say which era is the best when they all are so good in their own way. I like them all, but I agree that the early era should get a lot more attention! (HeadShoteR, you should create a forum)

I don't mind the prog-metal thing they're doing now, but I prefer the spacey stuff.
