Al Hasan Naqiyy (born Arlandis Hinton), best known by his stage name B.G. Knocc Out, is an American rapper known for collaborating with Eazy-E on the 1993 single "Real Muthaphuckkin G's". He is also the younger brother of rapper Dresta, who also collaborated in the song.

Early years

Born in Compton, B.G. Knocc Out grew up in neighbouring cities, Compton and Watts. Along with his brother, he is a Crips gang member, associated with Nutty Blocc Compton Crips set.He started rapping after being inspired by Eazy-E's song Boyz-n-the-Hood. B.G. Knocc Out was also a part of a short-lived group called Youths At Risk.

Dresta had reputation of rapping when he was in California Youth Authority. Eazy-E eventually discovered the brothers, met up and recorded songs with them.

He was first signed to Toenail Records and later to Ruthless Records, with Eazy-E. With Dresta, B.G. Knocc Out appeared on the Eazy-E's 1993 5x platinum EP It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa on the single "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" (which was censored to "Real Compton City G's" in order to garner MTV and radio airplay), taking shots at Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg after they had dissed Eazy-E on several songs on The Chronic.

Recent years

B.G. Knocc Out was sentenced to 10 years in prison for gang-related attempted murder in 1998.B.G. Knocc Out was released in August of 2006.

After his release he recorded songs and made amends with his former rivals Tha Dogg Pound. B.G. Knocc Out and Dresta were featured on their album Dogg Chit.

On September 2007 his official website confirmed reports that he was incarcerated again for parole violation and released a statement by his wife in which she states that he has been wrongfully charged and arrested on false allegations.

B.G. Knocc Out has stated that he is planning to record another album after his release. He stated in 2006:

The fans can expect straight heat from a new B.G. Knocc Out album. The lyrics will be heated and the beats will be slamming. Otherwise I'll never record another album. Thus I'll only put out the best or nothing at all.

B.G Knocc Out was released from jail on 23 November, 2008.
