Hey friendly last.fm buddies! You should scrobble some of my projects' songs. I'm curious to see what "similar artists" I get once enough people have scrobbled.
(Should be easy to stream or download full songs free from that profile and all of the bands linked in my bio)
I've got this tag on my page, so I have no objection.
http://www.lastfm.ru/music/Surji This tag is kinda long but I hope it scares away unprepared listeners:) It says: "This music is somewhat difficult, try another page"
How can anyone hate this tag? If you only like popular mainstream music, there is no reason to even come across this tag. Why and how are you even here? Click away from this page and be gone with you. When I don't like a particular kind of music or particular artist, then guess what? Wherever that music is, I'm somewhere else. Easily done on the internet, maybe not so much in real life.
thanks to the person who tagged me with this! Just discovered this extremely specific tag :) For the people that do not hate this tag.. Feel free to listen to my music and add your own! I one day hope to FINALLY get similar artists :)
i dont understand people who don't like this tag; they have to listen for changing their mind about market and real music, then they will accept unkwon artists; i had opened a lot of art-squats in Paris during 20 years and the very little artists i played are now famous (rave, rap, grunge, neorock...); people who think they are rebel by only listen to "siouxies and the banshees" make me laugh !
everyone else that has written in here has missed one major point. Being a minor is only due to market penetration. The more people listen - the higher your exposure, and the more you are known. It's that's simple. So stop with the BS about 'another tag'. Listen to new artists so they get the exposure they need.
