The last track on an album is allowed to be self-indulgent, sort of a code of conduct, especially within psych-rock. This doesn't have 20 minutes of silence until a random noise is made to end the album when it could have ended ages ago...
The Warlocks' music is subjective as to who will appreciate it (as with anything else). It is a bit self indulgent, but so is eating chocolate. The band eats a lot of chocolate, but they share it with those who like it.
it is self-indulgent, but what band isn't? if you aren't a little self-indulgent then i don't see how you can carve a career out of singing largely introspective songs (which most good songs are in a way).
Very doors-esque I feel... just without nutty jim morrison lyrics. or the ray manzarek keys.
