• Memories that never fade!

I was listening to some old albums today.. And stumbled upon my old idol, Sash! I listened to the best of album from 2000, and I must say that some of the old hits still felt really good. :) Although he has a cheezy style, there certainly something special about it.. Maybe its the memories connected to it, listening to songs over and over, dreaming yourself away somewhere.. I used to do that a lot.
I finished by listening to my favourite remix of a Sash!-song, the DuMonde remix of Adelante. Talk about raw energy! Gets my heart pumping and my body thumping everytime! :D

I think Im gonna continue with pieces of real beauty, Robet Miles! Another old favourite!

  • Well.

Following my recent rush of listening to Vast and Brand New, I've decided to regress slightly. In my musical tastes, that is... I'm going back through my CD collection, through all the CDs that I actually liked enough to buy and seeing whether I still like them...

Strangely, this has meant that I've been listening to some very weird mixes of music - Good Charlotte has come up a lot, as has Blink 182, and with a fair amount of Tom Lehrer thrown in for good measure... Billy Gilman has even made an appearance, which is mildly frightening...

I've come to the conclusion that some of my development as a discerning music listener has definitely been a good thing. While Good Charlotte are fun, and appeals to my sense of fun, I'm not sure that they fit into the category of intelligent music. I wish I still listened to Robert Miles as much as I used to, 'though. Dreamland was the first CD I ever owned, I think (Possibly the second after Blue), so it has a fair amount of significance in my head...
  • Working on...

Hmmmm if u are looking for music to work on maybe u should give a try to Robert Miles. Fable and Children are quite relaxing. A few years ago I found Tangerine Dream to be also fitted for this task :)
