Hal Williams (AKA Pyramid Vritra) is a rapper and producer from Georgia, Atlanta. He is one of the four founders of Georgia based hip hop/electronic collective NRK and is a member of California based hip hop collective OFWGKTA. His musical style is very experimental and combines features of hip hop and electronic among other genres to create a truly original sound.

His music career began when he started posting songs he made in garageband on the Startrak and Neptunes forums. Due to a lack of support and feedback he stopped posting music online for a while.

At the age of 20 he already has a large back catalogue of production and releases. He has released 3 unfinished story albums entitled Elouise, Eleanor and The Story of Marsha Lotus, which was later completed and released as his debut album on September 26 in digital and vinyl format. He followed this two months later with the release of his free self-titled second album PYRAMIDVRITRA on November 11 (his 20th birthday) through his group’s bandcamp and is made up of tracks which did not make his third solo album Pyramid which he is currently working on and is due to be released March 22.

He has also released a largely instrumental album called Voyager through OFWGKTA as part of production duo The Jet Age of Tomorrow (AKA The Super 3) along with Matthew Martin (AKA Matt Martians) due to having extra beats that were too weird for anyone to rap over. After dropping out of college he and Matt made and recorded their second release Journey To The 5th Echelon a year later which contained a greater number of vocal tracks as well as guest verses from members of both NRK and OFWGKTA. They have also produced tracks for said members on their respective solo releases as well as rappers outside these groups including Speak! and Casey Veggies.
