Stephen Paul Motian (* 25. März 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) ist ein amerikanischer Jazz-Schlagzeuger.

Motian wuchs in Providence, Rhode Island, auf. Bereits während seiner Highschoolzeit bis 1949 spielte er in verschiedenen Schulbands.
