The right tag is Hurry Up, We're Dreaming With comma and without dot. That's how it appears on just about every single official source including the M83 site. And to everyone complaining about people discussing the correct tag, fuck off. Nothing wrong with people wanting to get their tags right.
Haters be damned, this album is all kinds of incredible. It was a little too much for me to fully digest and appreciate right off the bat... but a year or two later, and I'm comfortable calling it among M83's best work. Different direction than earlier material, but progression is key.
According to musicbrainz.org, the correct tag is "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming." According to last.fm, the most popular tag is "Hurry Up We're Dreaming". You do what you will with that information. Listen your idiots
my least favorite. too much of everything. it feels like this was made before anything else. i miss the feel of floating, laying on the ground, enjoying the moment, impressions,... idk what's with the singing? and what's with the album cover? da fuq? it's not a bad album, but compared to what m83 has done before... it's frustrating.
Perfect for straight-through listening, beginning to end! You can look at the interludes as "filler".... but that is the WRONG way to look at this album. Most of the tracks don't stand up on their own, as it was designed to be listened to as one continuous work, in which it is truly a masterpiece. Much like Pink Floyd albums (many of which are Concept Albums)... which have also historically been misunderstood by many.
i love when people try and say this album is bad. its like "hurr durr, im sooo obscure. stop leiking things i donttt..."
admit it, you didnt listen to M83 before this album. you have no idea what you're talking about.
as for anthony, Morgan, and Loic...thank you for everything. we all love you.
