  • holding and reading the liner notes while listening closely to this brings a new understanding and appreciation of this and all that went into it [2] and some tears may roll while doing it too
  • Their best album.
  • Dreyer really notices every little detail
  • i like this album, but 1st one is more better
  • one of my favourite albums ever. holding and reading the liner notes while listening closely to this brings a new understanding and appreciation of this and all that went into it
  • Збс альбом. Хорошо сделали, по-пасански
  • Jordan explains the concept for the album in the EP "Conversations." He says it is kind of a compilation of short stories, and the personal annotations that go along with them and bring them all together. It's a fantastic album and very near the top of my 10 Favorite albums, if not number one.
  • This album showcases a band realizing the the immense potential they showed in their previous work. This album takes these kids from being an above average post-hardcore band, to being THE post-hardcore band. But it's more than just that. This album transcends its own genre and becomes something greater than the sum of its parts. It's perfect from start to finish, one of the most engaging albums I've ever listened to, by far the most emotionally intense album I've ever heard, and it gets better with every listen. Anyone who thinks Somewhere at the Bottom is their best album is wrong. Plain and simple. I love this album you guys. I've bought it three times (twice on vinyl). It really just doesn't get any better. And even though I don't see them topping this, I'm okay with that. And I can't wait to see where their music goes in the future.
  • @Thelastnameleft: I think that is what the Here, hear's are getting at. Otherwise this music is incredible.
  • art
  • If the rest of the album had the intimacy and flow of the interludes, It could be so raw and powerful. Fuck King Park
  • One of the best albums I have ever listened to
  • the kind of music i want to make
  • the writing skills of this guy is fucking impressing. And the instrumentation just add a extra emotional to the stories. I felt just like in movies, really.

  • 822 plays in your library. Best record of 2011 for me.
  • so amazing. [2]
  • so disappointing.
  • Gets better with each listen
  • the album feels like it's a series of short stories, some of them relating to each other, all of them about a town deteriorating. It's fairly depressing, but it's just so well-written I keep coming back as it just gets better for me with every listen.
  • why doesnt safer in the forest have nearly as many listens as the other songs? best song on the album imo.
  • album of the year by a country mile
  • shit album
  • Genuinely mindblowing example of a concept album done right. Great writing. I'm so glad this band exists.
  • If you ever need to buy a physical copy of an album it's this.
  • i am so happy i bought that record.
  • The change in lyrical subject makes this album so much more enjoyable for me. The lyrics on Somewhere... were so draining and got annoying after about 3 or 4 songs in. I do wish Wildlife was as intense and heavy as Somwhere... though.
  • @bizk1t_ like every album, lol :]
  • :")
  • gets better with every listen.
  • goosepimples all over my body...great record!
  • I'm always waiting for the singer to scream and break out, but the keeping the energy high. I like it so far!
  • Absolutely amazing.
  • darlingcore?
  • what a masterpiece
  • haha how can people like their other stuff but NOT this? Makes no sense [4] also, lol'd @ the "post-darlingcore" tag.
  • haha how can people like their other stuff but NOT this? Makes no sense [3]
  • legit crushin' on this album
  • It's just taken what they've done with there earlier work and developed it. I swear some people give albums 1 listen and decide it's no good.
  • Nothing wrong with this album :)
