The album is DR8, which is not particularly compressed by modern standards, and especially by modern punk standards, or even modern rock standards. It could certainly be better, but it's definitely not "terrible". Compare it to something like Bowie's Blackstar or Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool - both those records are way louder and clip audibly throughout their running time, even in many of the quiet portions. No audible clipping to be found on this one. I'd rather a DR11-12 master like the old Alternative Tentacles Kennedys CDs had, obviously, but if most rock records were mastered like this one I wouldn't have much cause for complaint, because it would be a substantial improvement for most of them. As for the song itself, the main riff is absolutely killer.
