  • @I0O What exactly are you saying "no." to? What I said is historical fact. Look it up. No one band created "Funk Metal."
  • Such an amazing artistic fucking beautiful psychedelic record timeless classic in my eyes <3 \\m/
  • Faith No More could release an album with just a recording of Patton shitting in a bottle of orange juice and it would still be better than anything RHCP ever did. Most overrated band in existence.. rip off, don't make me laugh.
  • Epic is the only shit song. Rest of the album is good but it is also a bit overrated.
  • Faith No More doesn't sound anything like RHCP, it really doesn't.

    >Bad Brains, Fishbone, Malfunkshun and both FNM and Mr. Bungle, among others, were playing funk metal back in the early- and mid-80s.< no.
  • The rapping parts sounds very similar, but not the regular singing. At all.
  • How and why do people think this album "rips off" the Red Hot Chili Peppers? For starters RHCP didn't invent "funk metal" or whatever you want to label this type of music. Bad Brains, Fishbone, Malfunkshun and both FNM and Mr. Bungle, among others, were playing funk metal back in the early- and mid-80s. RHCP certainly don't have any claim to being the sole creator of that sound. Beyond that, this doesn't sound much like the Chili Peppers at all beyond perhaps a couple of tracks. For the most part, at least at this point and beyond, Faith No More had a much more metallic sound than RHCP ever had, in addition to FNM incorporating a lot of other types of music that the Chili Peppers never played.
  • Perfect album, all songs are so good. I like how every song is so different from other and you still know it's the same album. This album opened my mind back in 2011, FNM remained as one of favourite bands ever since.
