  • hopefully i get to see him perform live someday
  • True master. His live sets are to be studied. His vinyls are gospel.
  • wherever I go, bugs, you've been there already. It's good to know I'm in safe territory √
  • New mix.
  • Crawling And Hungry is perfect too!
  • Oil On Metal!
  • I'm in love.
  • +1 Detroit is the mecca of where this sound originally came from, his music has a lot more to do with Juan Atkins than it does Basic Channel and by my count Juan was producing 10 years before they were, did I mention he coined the term Techno and is widely considered the inventor of it? Convextion's music radiates Detroit Techno people, why are so many trying to classify him in the Basic Channel school of music when he isn't.
  • Basic Channel? hmm. I think folks want to get themselves a flight across the Atlantic visit a little place called 'Detroit' and start their comparisons from there.
  • you must listen to his erd alias . prefer that then the convextion. but bouth good
  • You: 1, Me: 0, but Basic Channel did release their first records in 1993 and the music has been around since a year before that. Still, I should have reserved the term for the acts that have come much later. Don't get me wrong, I love this music, and like Basic Channel it doesn't seem to have a shelf life.
  • That is almost funny. Convextion put out his first record in early 1995 and I heard there were promo's of it around in 1994, which would mean he released music the same time Basic Channel did, I wouldn't call his music a spin off of anything, its just Convextion. Juan Atkins and Derrick May still play that record in just about every set I've heard from them even today, Convextion made some timeless music in which he influenced others not the other way around.
  • One of the better Basic Channel spin-offs
  • Ii had no idea about this project..... Im impressed about the sound of the selftitled album. Its like... bassic channel sound with a touch of monolake ambiences and..something more... Im glad i found this. just GREAT.
  • grandmaster.
  • "Crawling & Hungry" mindblowing.. Legendary works from the early 90's and beyond.
  • eh mn
  • spice tea is still one of my favorites
  • Convextion: Miranda = The Shortest Path To Heaven
  • A great artist with sounds coming from deep space !....It would be great if he could play at DEMF2009 (May 23-25 th in Detroit ,USA) !.... "pace in space !"...
  • I didn;t realise he playing Bloc, Good job i've got my tickets already :D
  • awesome live set from athens. really worth listening to
  • We love TECHNO
  • amazing. and looks exactly like kevin bacon.
  • It's sad to see all these 'Crawling And Hung' instead of 'Crawling & Hungry'. Or am I totally missing something?
  • I seriously cannot wait for the live set at Bloc.
  • hypnotic music. buy everything from him without any second thoughts. new star of detroit techno.
  • great stuff.
  • 66z
