  • Life, love and faith is one of my all-time fav albums. Awesome groove!
  • Isn't it amazing how a silly commercial could introduce you to such a magnificent artist? Thank you, Axe Chocolate!....Also, I could've sworn I recognized his voice on the True Blood soundtrack, too. Now I just have to figure out which episode that was....
  • I first heard him on the "True Blood" soundtrack. So great! <3
  • try amoeba records.
  • Im so confused! None of his good albums are available on itunes, and they just seem to be hard to find in general. Does anyone know why? I need more Allen!!! specifically looking for his 1971 LP
  • I LIKEY Allen Toussaint!!!!
  • I feel horrible that I heard this guy first on an AXE commercial but fuck it, he's awesome.
  • It's a shame that Allen or his record company aren't allowing many tracks for full listening on last.fm. He is such a core figure in recent New Orleans music that he deserves more exposure within the last.fm community. Have just been listening to his superb version of "Yes We Can Can".
  • <<<<<<
  • the chocolate man!!!!!
  • I suggest checking out the music blog Home of the Groove which focuses on Toussaint and other New Orleans music.
