You'd think that your music profile would be better with the creation of the new last.fm "Spelling Correction" feature (under "website settings" under "settings"). Unfortunately, this is not the case. Looking through my library, my tag for "藤原ヒロシ
" has turned into "Hiroshi Fujiwara
" into "Jo Sung Mo
"... and "葉加瀬太郎
" into Taro Hakase
, just to name a few. After I spend hours desperately trying to correct my tags into the artists' proper names in their original languages, this is what I get? I get an auto-correct feature that links an already correctly spelled artist to an incorrectly spelled artist page? A feature that actually adds 40 extra artists to my library?
Thanks, but no thanks.
I hope this auto-correct feature remains optional forever (you can opt out by unchecking the box under the "Spelling Correction" feature in your "settings").
