Bam! alright i think i got all of them down now. man big up for the contribution, i think the connected artist list got twice as chunky, at least! I see you've been down with the swedish scene for a while now. I always had the notion that it was the swedish punk/rock bands who made most noise outside the swedish borders back in the day except the bigger mainstream acts, but I have to say im suprised it was so many (the last bunch of acts u mentioned). I have to admit I've recently started to appreciate and become more curious about the cucumber shaped countries music. It's just kind of hit me, not sure if its just my broadened musical view or thats its quality and innovation has escaladed lately, none the less, its good stuff. Take the bicycle down to the final countdown man! 'vår del av stan' means 'our part of town'. is it a hot tip?

Well José since i joined yesterday i just realised i grew up listening to too much swedish melodic punk... i'm even embaredsed to mention a few ahahah Don't know if they fit here but what the hell i love going down memory lane! Melodic punk/hardcore: Randy, Millencolin, Satanic Surfers, Venerea, No Fun At All, Saidiwas, Section 8, Separation... crust punk: Wolfpack, Wolfbrigade, Driller Killer, Victims, Skitsystem, Totalitär, Disfear... I'm sure i'll remember more i used to go through the entire catalog of swedish record labels... As you can see I love swedish punk rock :) The last record I downloaded was from Masshysteri it's called 'Vår Del Av Stan' what does it mean?

Great initiative! Unfortunately a lot of "music ignorants" think that simply good music is "weird". That's too bad, they don't know what they're missing. I love loads of swedish groups: Koop, Little Dragon, The Cardigans, José Gonzaléz (<3), etc etc. Some suggestions for the group: The Hives, The (international)Noise Conspiracy, The Knife, The Division of Laura Lee. I'll try to remember some more. :)

Hmmm... let's see here. Most of the Swedish music I listen to are considered by others to be "weird". But nevertheless: Detektivbyrån Puss and Rymdkraft "Normal" Swedish music that I like: The Hives and Peter Bjorn and John
