    Columbus shows, local and not

Honestly, I'm not sure what I'm doing here.
I've never been too big into the Columbus music scene even though I've "been in a band" for some time now. I just like to know when "good" bands are coming through or coming out of their basements.

So here are a few obvious ones:
    Sept 21 - Nationwide - Tool
Sept 24 - The Basement - Erin McKeown
Sept 25 - The Newport - of Montreal
    Oct 5 - Promowest - The Strokes
Oct 5 - Mershon Auditorium - Ladytron and Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS)
    Nov 10 - Promowest - The Decemberists
Nov 15 - Promowest - Death Cab for Cutie and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists

Of course, there are a lot I didn't put up, but that's because I have bad taste... and gave into the realization that nobody will read this.

Search for Columbus, OH. It's basically pretty rad.

  • The Winter Sounds 5/17

Come check out the Winter Sounds this Thursday at Cafe Bourbon Street. They are a real cool band that sounds like a mix of Arcade Fire, Bloc Party and Death Cab. The show should start around 10:30 and tickets are only 5 dollars.
