Got almost all of your suggested covers Dan1boy. I couldn't track down Universal Poplab's Brilliant Creatures. I've only got their Morrissey cover, so if you can't send it over I'd really appreciate it :-)

Tomorrow I'll post I Hate Kate - Major Tom in my blog. It's really a kick ass cover, I've already played it in my radio show! Thanks! I'm waiting for more of your picks :-)

Oh well... I'm still trying to like the new album (it's quite a hard task though). Anyway, if you can't find the Hotel Persona track let me know and I'll send it to you. And thanks for introducing me to The Officers :) They're really good! I also discovered Gran Ronde and Repeater these days, they 're both good.

PS. Check out the Shiny Toy Guns cover of Major Tom. Not as good as I Hate Kate's but stil...

I like Gran Ronde...but as far as L.A. based bands go, my favorites are: Mighty Six Ninety, Test Your Reflex and Moving Units by a long long mile :))

Yeah, heard that lackluster cover of MT that STG did...boring as hell...thank g-d it was a free dl.

I checked out Repeater per your reco...good stuff man, keep it coming!

Regarding LA Bands, I've made posts in my blog about both M690 and Moving Units... Actually the M690 was featured in my top10 albums of the year.

But Test Your Reflex? Haven't heard of them... until now! I'm listening now to their album and I'm really impressed. I guess I have to make yet another post in my blog :-) And then get back to work and finish my new mashup. It's Tenek vs. David Guetta vs. UNKLE. I hope you'll like it :-)
