Unleashed in the east is the best live album ever.

Stained Class is my all time fav metal album, followed by Sin After Sin and then Sad Wings of Destiny. I want all of them on vinyl, now I only have Rocka Rolla and Killing Machine (from the discucces period).

Sad Wings - Sin After Sin - Stained Class is one of the most brilliant streaks in metal history. Killing Machine is not a bad album but a pretty sharp drop after the pure genius of Stained Class.

I wouldn't count Killing Machine/Hell Bent for Leather in. It's good but not as great as the holy trinity.

If you like good ol' Judas Priest, you might like Argent too. They're not metal, but very classic with great sounding keyboards and vocals of mr. Rod Argent himself. I made a group for this band. You people can visit and join if you want.

I know their vinyl Sad Wings of Destiny thanks to my dad! It's just a master piece... Why better than their later work imo.

I give you that. It was better than most post 70's.

No it was, though not as good as the 3 albums that came afterwards, but then again better than most of their post 70s stuff.

    Let's just admit it. Rocka'Rolla wasn't good.

70's metal is the real thing. And as the biggest Priest-fan in the world, I say Stained Class is their finest work, followed closely by Sin after Sin!

The 70`s material really overshadows their later work in a whole (although they made great albums like Screaming and Painkiller). But the fact is that their later lyrics are significally weaker than the 70`s stuff. Just listen to Stained Class and then to British Steel.
