Baltimore duo Beach House released their third full-length back in January and have been clocking up scrobbles throughout the year. Teen Dream, the band's first release on the Sub Pop label, received gushing reviews from critics and bloggers alike for its deceptively hook-laden dreampop. The album quickly became their most popular to date, with the single 'Norway' notching up nearly 900,000 scrobbles from you.
Singer Victoria Legrand separately picked up even more scrobbles after contributing vocals to the Grizzly Bear track 'Slow Life', which appeared on the soundtrack to last winter's instalment of the Twilight movie trilogy, New Moon.
A year of touring - including a support slot on Vampire Weekend's jaunt across the States - saw Beach House gain scores of new fans, with none other than hip hop's premier power couple, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, spotted at the band's Coachella festival slot.
